Hedgerow Heroes in Maulden

The CPRE Bedfordshire Hedgerow Heroes project launched the 2024/5 planting season in Maulden.

 

Under foggy and grey skies our brilliant team of volunteers planted over 200 metres of hedgerow at the Community Orchard in Maulden. The Community Orchard is at the heart of the village and is well used by local families.

The species planted at Maulden included hawthorn, guelder rose, dogwood and spindle.
