Join us on a walk to celebrate the countryside and our anniversary

 

 

 

This year marks 40 years of CPRE Bedfordshire, and we’re celebrating by doing what we love most — exploring and appreciating our beautiful countryside together.

Join us for a free guided walk through some of Bedfordshire’s most scenic landscapes. Starting at Bromham Mill (Bridge End, Bromham MK43 8LP), we’ll follow marked footpaths along parts of the Bunyan Trail and River Ouse Valley Walk. Expect peaceful riverside views, open meadows, and glimpses of local heritage as we stroll through the heart of our county.

👣 Distance: Around 4 miles
🕒 Duration: About 2 hours
🌾 Terrain: Mostly flat, with a short road section
🐕 Who’s welcome: Everyone! Bring your family, friends, and well-behaved dogs
☕ Finish: Relax with a coffee at Bromham Mill’s café afterwards

This walk is a chance to meet our friendly CPRE team, connect with others who care about the countryside, and celebrate four decades of protecting Bedfordshire’s green spaces.
