New Towns

Tempsford and the Milton Keynes are now on the shortlist of seven New Town following Governments New Towns Task Force Final Report. CPRE Bedfordshire is reviewing developments for both locations. Tempsford is the only new rural location on the shortlist but is expected to be prioritised. The proposal for Milton Keynes suggests some expansion to the periphery, but we are already concerned about a recent expansion application into Central Bedfordshire.
